How do you make sure support workers are the right fit?

Every staff member is carefully screened and trained to meet clinical and ethical standards. We look for professionalism, reliability and empathy — not just availability. For people with higher or more complex needs, our team’s medical and allied health background helps ensure the right level of understanding and care.

What happens if my needs or goals change?

We adjust with you. Your supports aren’t locked in — we review them regularly to make sure they still match your goals, health and circumstances. If you need something different, we’ll update your plan and work closely with your support coordinator to make it happen smoothly.

How do you handle privacy and professionalism?

We follow strict privacy and confidentiality protocols in line with NDIA and health-sector standards. Our team keeps professional boundaries clear and transparent — especially important given our clinical background — so you can always trust how your information and support are managed.

How do referrals and new participants work?

You can self-refer, have a family member contact us, or ask your support coordinator to make a referral on your behalf. Once we receive your details, we’ll arrange a time to learn about your goals and preferences, then confirm how we can best support you.

What if I already have a support coordinator?

That’s great! We work well alongside support coordinators, plan managers and allied health professionals. Our focus is teamwork — keeping communication clear and ensuring everyone involved is working toward the same goals for the participant.

What makes LG Health Care different from other providers?
