Practical answers to help you know what to expect from your NDIS supports and how they fit into daily life.

Can you assist with transport to medical appointments or activities?

Yes. Transport can be built into your plan as part of Core Supports. Our staff provide door-to-door assistance, wait with you if needed, and make sure you arrive safely. For people with mobility or health concerns, our nursing team can coordinate with your GP or therapist to ensure the trip is safe and comfortable.

What happens if I have complex or changing health needs?

We review each participant’s needs regularly and stay in contact with health professionals involved in your care. Our nursing team oversees medication management, wound care, and other clinical tasks, while support staff handle daily routines. If your condition changes, we adjust services promptly and document everything for your records and coordinator.

How do you keep support consistent?

We build small, stable teams around each participant rather than rotating staff randomly. This allows people to form real working relationships and ensures important details aren’t lost between shifts. If a staff change is unavoidable, we provide clear handovers so your routines stay uninterrupted.

What’s your approach to communication?

We believe good support depends on good communication. Families and your wider support team receive updates about rosters, progress, and any incidents or health concerns. You’ll always have one main contact person at LG who can answer questions quickly.

Can you help if I need new services or extra hours added?

Definitely. We’ll talk through what’s changed and provide clear notes or supporting information for your plan review. If you’re working with a support coordinator, we liaise directly with them so adjustments happen without confusion or delay.
